I am upset and I have all rights to be…
Searching for the meaning of life, had been a task sages had ventured and claimed to have accomplished ages back, and yet never convincingly revealed. Marching forth and looking ahead has become the vision of life , the power of ‘now’ and living in the ‘present’ the shining slogas. This new philosophy of convenience has resulted in discarding ones parents and living for one’s children, evicting the older to make room for the younger. The cultural India still have places where the older ones are given a nice cool luxurious oil bath in the wee hours well before dawn and there after served tender coconut water through out the day, so that the pampered ones would catch a deadly fever and succumb to it.
I am disappointed and I have all rights to be…
Designer wear are in vogue and so are designer kids. What is a growing tree without roots.. We give our children wings to soar high in life, but alas! With no roots to hold on to. Children grow up learning to climb steps and from the peak they realize with panic that they hadn’t been taught to descend. Oh what a pity! They can only but look down at the fluttering flowers, the inviting waves, the cool sand, the green carpets .. all of which they have lost to the flight of success they have been ascending.
I am alarmed and I have all rights to be…
Nature with a wink of an eye, or a sharp nod erases our lives and throws the debris for media to telecast worldwide. As the wisdom of the magi tells us, to meet the balance, the tilt has to occur and it happens when nature clears its throat by a soft hum, or a slight turning to the other side in its slumber, it could be a light burping out of the acidity it has been holding on for ages.
I wish..
… we would be able to love and care for our parents as much as we care for our children.
… we let our children have their dreams and learn to laugh, have compassion, tolerance and love.
…my son would learn how to lose a game and take defeat with grace.. instead of the tantrums when his Minister has been taken away by my yawning Pawn.
… we elevate happiness to the topmost place in our priority list, we realize that happiness is contagious and that it cannot be cribbed, cabined and confined to few.
.. we understand that life is so uncertain and we realize the need to live life to its fullest.
